| Gite Domaine La Cabane is sutuated in a peaceful hamlet overlooking the Céou valley, ideal starting point for visiting all the tourist sites in the Dordogne?lot valley. Five minutes from Gourdon with all its amenities, like 5 large supermarkets, many restaurants, bars etc. There is canoeing or kayaking on the rivers Dordogne, Lot and Vezere, horse-riding, tennis golf, castles and pre-historic caves to visit and lots more to do in the area. Domaine La Cabane has on its extensive grounds 3 luxury gites and 3 B& B rooms. The gites are very spacious and tastefuly furnished to a high standard. The kitchens are dfully equipped with o.a. dish washing machines, micro-waves etc. The large sitting/dining rooms have comfortable settees and chairs with TV and DVD player. French foors opening onto south facing terraces with garden furniture and BBQ. Shared use of chlorine free swimming pool (12 x 6m). Around the pool are many sun loungers for relaxing and children have ample play area. |
Things to see and do
Medieval villages and towns like Sarlat, Domme, Rocamadour, St-Cirq La Popie are within easy reach. Also many castles, pre-hitoric caves like Pech Merle, Lascaux II and Gouffre de Padirac are not very far.
