| Gite St Samson is a beautifully renovated stone cottage with heated swimming pool set in 10 acres of grounds bordering the River Blavet and the Nantes Brest canal in Central Brittany.The property offers open views, peace and tranquillity. Open plan ground floor with comfortable lounge ( wood burning stove, TV, DVD, CD player )and well equipped kitchen diner ( fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine ). 3 bedrooms on first floor ( one double, one twin, one bunk bed ) sleeping up to 6 people. Modern bathroom. Electric convector heaters throughout. Metered electricity. Extensive grounds with heated swimming pool ( 11.20m x 4.20m ) which is shared with two other gites. Communal games room ( pool, table tennis ). Garden furniture and barbecue. Prices: July and August £695 per week May, June and September £450 per week April, Christmas, New Year, Easter and half terms £299 per week Rest of year £199 per week. During the peak season changeover day is Saturday but we do try and be flexible for the rest of the year. Things to see and do
An ideal area for walking, fishing, cycling and watersports with direct access to the River Blavet and Nantes Brest canal and its towpath. The Lac de Guerledan is only 10 kilometres away with its safe sandy beaches and range of water sports. The property is equi distant from both the North and South coasts of Brittany ( about an hours drive ) and also the ferry ports of Roscoff and St Maol ( about an hour and a half drive ) Whilst it has a rural setting the town of Pontivy is only 10 kilometres away with a large range of shops , supermarkets and amenities.
