Travelling back and fourth to France over the years and being a keen user of the internet to save money and find bargains, I have put together this page to help you do the same. I will update this page as often as I can but some of the offers are time sensitive so I suggest to take advantage of them while they are listed if you like them.

Keeping in touch with people who live abroad or keeping in touch while you are abroad can be expensive. Here I have put together a couple of ways to save.

1.Save dialing home from your mobile
I found the bill for my mobile when returning from my holiday used to make me wish I had left it at home! Now I use a French sim from www.0044.co.uk to save money. It no longer costs me to receive calls or texts and calls are much cheaper. I also only give the number to friends and family so no more sales calls!!

2.Save dialing internationally from your computer
Skype is probably one of the very best money saving finds I've ever made. If you use a computer connected to the internet via broadband use Skype to call anyone in the world on their computer for free. Or if you like, add some credit and call any landline or mobile anywhere in the world for a few p a minute. I put a tenner credit on my account and it lasted me months and I chat to people in France, Spain and America regularly.

Solar panels are clean, green and save you money at the same time as doing your bit for the environment. I buy all my solar bits and pieces from Sunshinesolar.

Hostels

If you are travelling on a tight budget as I had to when I was a student, hostels are a good place to stay on the cheap. In fact, we stayed at a couple this year when we did 'The Three Peaks Challenge' and they have come on a lot since my student days. Click Here to start your search.

If you are looking to get away for a late break and want a bargain, check out Laterooms who offer discounted rooms available for late booking. Use the search box to the right.
