Camping Miramar * * *

Camping Miramar is located just a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful port and beaches of La Londe Les Maures which makes it ideal for lovers of the beach and water sports. The campsite itself is well laid out with plenty of shade on all 242 pitches. The shower and toilet blocks are quite old fashioned and showing their age as are the laundry facilities. The restaurant supplies good simple reasonably priced food in it's simple outdoor covered setting pictured above. It will also supply take away food which we found to be a bit pricy. However, there is an excellent pizza restaurant just down the road which does take outs and there is a small shopping centre just 5 mins walk away where everthing is available at reasonable prices. In the port there are many restaurants where you can eat whilst looking over the harbour. The local town of La Londe, 5 mins drive away, has a large shopping centre with a market ever Sunday. I would say this campsite should really be a 2 star site but it's location and nearby facilities make up for it's shortcomings.
