A warm welcome to L 'Etoile du Port - a beautifully and recently converted cognac warehouse. Originally built in 1632 on a well-known quay on the outskirts of the medieval market town of Saint Jean D'Angely, we are right at the heart of the Charente Maritime.
All rooms overlook this unique river and lakeside setting and have been recently refurbished in a luxurious and eclectic style by the English owners (who are also happy to provide free help and advice with local agents and house hunting!). The aim of L ‘Etoile du Port is to provide relaxation, inspiration and value.
Guests are invited to make use of the impressive but relaxed "ballroom" salon whilst snacks and a full continental breakfast can be served in your room, in the garden or in the salon itself.
Central to the Charente Maritime, this is the perfect location being near the A10 for those wishing to explore the beautiful coast, the ancient towns or typical countryside around.
