| La Lune is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast just west of Le Mans in the Pays de la Loire. Our Chambre d’hotes (B&B) is biker and family friendly with secure parking for all our guests. (garage parking for motorbikes) Our above ground pool is next to the orchard and is perfect for cooling off after a day out, and the covered terrace is ideal for dining alfresco or just to relax under with a nice cold glass of wine or beer. If you enjoy fishing, our 1 acre lake is fully stocked with carp, bream, tench and perch, Chris will lend you a rod if you would like to try and catch the ‘big one’ | ||
Just off the D357 and only 2 kms from the A81 autoroute, we are very well placed for touring this beautiful region or for a one night stop while travelling to other parts of France and Spain. No long winding country lanes to negotiate after a long journey. For golfers, the golf course at nearby Sable Solesmes is considered to be one of the best in all of France and just 5 minutes away in the village of Brulon, the large lake has a man made beach and play area for children. You can also hire push bikes to explore some of the 170 kms of bike trails which start from here, or canoes and kayaks to meander up and down the river. There is a restaurant / bar for snacks and drinks and also a 14 hole crazy golf course. There is certainly something to do for all the family. |

La Lune is just 1/2 from Le Mans, home to the famous 24 hr endurance car race. This event is held each June. The GP Moto is held each May and the Classic Cars race is held every 2 years during the month of July. |
