Bed and breakfast La Maison Rose is a comfortable and recently refurbished Quercy farmhouse set in a quiet hamlet of Niaudon yet less than 2km of the pretty village of Prayssac. This former tabacco farmhouse is situated on 15 acres of open pasture and rolling wooded hills.We offer four large and stylish bedrooms,One master bedroom with four poster Queen size bed,One Double bedroom,One Quad bedroom sleeping four and a Twin bedroom.Each has it's own en-suite bath/shower room,tea/coffee facilities,linen and bath towels provided for guest.High chair and cot available. There is a comfortable Living room with English TV,DVD,CD,games and plenty of books. Outside we offer a 10 x 5 swimming pool,large sun terrace with solar lighting and solar pool shower,Parasols and Sun loungers.Plenty of parking space in our courtyard and dry storage area in our 110 metre Barn.Mountain bikes are available for hire at nominal cost. We can provide evening meals throughout the year.Consisting of four courses with aperitif and wine included.Cost 23 Euro's per head. |
Things to see and do
The Lot in summer is full of festivals ranging from Concerts,Plays,Dance,Jazz,Classical,R&B and much more besides. Most of the surrounding "bastide" villages have a weekly market to stock up on fresh produce and goodies to take home.We have a list of events available or you can go to the local tourist board. Pech-Merle prehistoric caves are well worth a visit and Saint-Cirq-lapopie a pretty village overhanging on a River Lot cliff face.The Capital Cahors is well worth a visit to see the worlds only Fortified bridge and then do some shopping and watch the world go by at a pavement cafe.
