Les Portails Bleus is an English owned comfortable and welcoming B&B situated in the wine producing region of the Maconnais, southern Burgundy. Ideally situated for an overnight stop or as a base to explore this wonderful part of France. With great roads and fabulous scenery we can offer you secure parking, a workshop (for cycles or motorbikes)drying room, private garden and hot tub. Linda can prepare you a home cooked evening meal, with wine for only 20€ per person or provide packed lunches/picnics, on request.

Things to see and do in the area

The ancient twon of Cluny is situated only 15 minutes from our B&B. With the historic cities of Beaune and Dijon about an hour away, there are plenty of places to explore. Our countryside is full of Chateaux and Roman churches. Being in this part of France we are surrounded by acres of vineyards, catering for wines of all tastes and with plenty of opportunity to sample the local fayre.

There is an annual Fair on 1st,2nd, 3rd August 2009.
