From £35.00 per night I have a family shower room and a guest bathroom Yew House is located in the historic Sussex town of Crowborough, making it the ideal centre for visiting the Ashdown Forest  famous for its  Winnie the Pooh and frends connection. Hundred Acre Wood, Pooh sticks bridge and all the other places from the A.A. Milne stories. Crowborough was also the home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Writer of the famous Sherlock Holmes stories. Yew House Its Idearly situated to explore the outstanding views of  the High Weald of Sussex, Transport links There is a bus stop opersite the drive The name of the stop is Medway. Passing bus numbers are 229,  29,  going to Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Lewes, and Brighton. Crowborough railway station is approximately 1/4 of a mile down the road with trains to London  hourly. The local community of Jarvis Brook is within  easy walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants and small shops. There are also 4 or 5 National Trust properties with in a 10 mile radius of Crowborough, not to mention Royal Tunbridge Wells (6 miles) the old market town of Heathfield (8 miles) and picturesque villages of Rotherfield (2 miles) Mayfield (5 miles), Eastbourne (18 miles) and Brighton (20 miles) Gatwick is airport (18 miles)    Services I offer a full englsh or a continental breakfast A simple evening meal can be arranged in advance for a nominal charge I can also provide a packed lunch or picnic basket when arranged in advance for a nominal charge   All Rooms have: Television Clock radio alarms, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hairdryers, Sewing kit, Use of a Ironing board, Central heating with individual thermostatic controls.
